Location: Located in the St Lucia, KwaZulu Natal. The lodge itself is situated away from the busiest part of the town of St Lucia but with easy access to supermarkets, restaurants etc.
St Lucia is officially a no-risk malaria area & is a 2˝ hours drive north of Durban on the N2 toll road.
From Gauteng drive via Ermelo, Piet Retief and Pongola (6˝ hours). St. Lucia is ideal for a stopover for visitors driving between Kruger National Park & KwaZulu Natal OR for those starting their journey in Cape Town and driving northwards to the Kruger Park.
St Lucia Estuary in South Africa is known as the gateway to the Greater St Lucia Wetland Park and therefore ideally positioned as an accommodation base for further exploration.

Scope for improvement and development: Existing Lapa area can be converted to a health drinks & Hotel-Spa facility, gym, Sushi restaurant & bar or Cigar & Cognac lounge. Front facing Cottages with sweeping views have architect plans to convert existing coverage into accommodation units or public areas, viz bar, restaurant, private executive VIP lounge, health Spa, gym, etc. Existing Garage & staff quarters have architect council approved plans for more units or a 3rd conference facility. The opportunity exists with an ideal base of clientele to apply for concessions for an integrated In-House Tour operation in the area & surrounds. This, with client feed from Lodging is in itself an extra big money spinner. Conferences: Our newly built conference centre caters for up to 100 delegates. The Lapa with its wooden sundeck and cosy bar offers magnificent views over the wetlands. The Lapa can be used as a conference venue comfortably catering for 35 delegates and is equipped with flip charts, overhead projector, television and VCR.
